Chipotle Aioli (GF) (V)

Chipotle aioli in a ramekin

Chipotle Aioli gives a great smokey, spicy addition to any sandwich.

Can be used on fish tacos instead of a Cilantro Lime Sauce.

Give it a try and play with the ingredients, you can dial it in to the flavors you like.

Adjust this recipe as you need.
If you do not want it as spicy add less chipotle pepper and/or don't add the adobo sauce. Increasing the mayonnaise can reduce the heat.

Recipe Multiplier

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 ea Chipotle in Adobo Sauce (Should be GF but check your brand)
  • 1 tsp Adobo Sauce – from the chipotle can
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro
  • ¼ tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

  • Place Mayonnaise and Chipotle pepper and the adobo sauce in a food processor.
  • Puree until Chipotle Pepper is pureed.
  • Add the Lime Juice and Cilantro
  • Puree until the Cilantro is chopped.
  • Adjust the seasoning as needed.
