Roasted Pepper & Onion Shrimp Saute

Roasted Pepper and Onion Shrimp Saute
Quick and Easy Seared Shrimp

Roasted Pepper & Onion Shrimp Saute is a great side dish for pasta dishes or just to have as a protein option. Great idea for those kids who are extremely picky where the addition of shrimp to a pasta dish may turn them off from eating what you cooked.

This recipe has a nice roasted pepper flavor from the roasted bell peppers and the addition of Mildish Bambino Hot Sauce. This new addition to Joey’s Hot Sauce‘s line up. Joey’s mild hot sauce is mainly made from roasted sweet peppers but there is a touch of heat, very mild.

You can substitute your favorite hot sauce if you like but I highly recommend picking up some of Joey’s Hot Sauce. They all have amazing flavor and all ranges of spice levels.

Great Pasta Pairing

I made this shrimp dish with the recipe for Pasta alla Pesto Genovese and the pairing was amazing. The pesto pasta dish with the roasted peppers, caramelized onions and roasted pepper hot sauce was both a compliment and contrasting flavors in the same dish. The contrasting flavors worked well because the pesto has an oily nature to it and the roasted pepper flavor cut through. Pairing Roasted Pepper & Onion Shrimp Saute with this pasta was a win!

Serving Options

Make this dish as an appetizer, serve with pics to do a twist on a Shrimp Cocktail, serve one of Joey’s hotter sauces on the side as a dipping sauce. This would also go great as an option on a charcuterie board as a chilled shrimp.

Keep this recipe in your back pocket so when you need something unique or special for an appetizer or entree options for guests.

Enjoy!
