Roasted Red and Orange Bell Peppers with Sauteed Onions pair well with Joey's Hot Sauce - Mildish Bambino to coat the seared shrimp. Pair this shrimp dish with Pasta alla Pesto Genovese!
Roast the Bell Peppers under a broiler or over a flame.Peppers can be roasted on the stove top over a gas burner or on an outdoor grill.
Once the peppers are charred, place them in a bowl and cover. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the steam to loosen the skin.
When the peppers are cool enough to handle, peel the skin and remove the seeds from the peppers. Slice the peppers into ½" wide strips.
Slice the onions in to ½" wide strips.
Cooking the Shrimp
In a saute pan, heat the olive oil.
Over a medium heat, add the onions and saute until they begin to develop color. The onions should still hace some bite to them for texture to the dish.
Turn up the heat to high and add the shrimp to the pan and sear the shrimp on both sides. about a minute per side.
Add the roasted peppers to the pan and toss to combine.
Add the Joey's Hot Sauce's - Mildish Bambino Hot Sauce to the pan.Toss to heat the sauce and combine.
Serve immediately or reserve until pasta dish is ready.Enjoy!
