Tzatziki is a traditional Greek sauce and dip made from cucumber, yogurt, and lemon being the main ingredients but is flavored with garlic, dill and or mint depending on who you ask. And don’t forget it wouldn’t be Greek without olive oil.

Recipe Multiplier
- 16 oz Plain Greek Yogurt
- ¾ ea Peeled, Seeded and Grated English Cucumber
- 4 ea Garlic Cloves finely grated
- 1 ea Juice of one Lemon
- ⅓ cup Chopped dill
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¼ tsp Kosher Salt
- ⅛ tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Peel the English Cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise. Using spoon scrape the seeds out from the cucumber. Grate the cucumber on a box grater. Squeeze the liquid from the cucumber with your hands or using a cheesecloth.
- In a bowl, combine the pressed cucumber and the remaining ingredients.
- Mix together and put into a container and refrigerate overnight. The cucumber will breakdown and the flavors will come together.
- Serve with your favorite grilled meat, as a dip or in a wrap.
